An 'inherited' passion for designer clothing
I grew up with a mother who had a passion for beautiful clothing. We were bonded by a love of vintage and pre-owned designer fashion and I soon got the bug for finding hidden treasures. It started to bother me however how disposable fashion had become and I longed for a change of scene from London (where I worked for a various magazines including Conde Nast publication Women's Wear Daily). Since relocating to Somerset, I have combined this experience with my passion for sustainable fashion.
It’s our mission here at LOVE ALICE to remove as much wearable clothing as we can from the landfill cycle, whilst bringing our customers unique, trend-led pieces that won’t cost the Earth (quite literally).
Sourcing pre-owned designer clothing from across the fashion industry
To achieve this, I work with a wide range of sources within the fashion industry to bring you the best preowned designer and vintage pieces. These are then married with a high level of customer service, something I am passionate about. I believe there should be no compromise to shopping second hand, it should be everyone's first choice... The only thing that stops this for many people is a sub standard customer care experience, which we are making it our mission to disrupt. That means accurate, clear photography so you can really see the item, swift shipping and a huge sixty day return policy - even better than buying new.
That is our USP - slow fashion with all the perks - and none of the compromises.
Our curated range is one that we love and own outright, so you are dealing with us and us alone.
You will never have to wait for someone at home to package and send your item, or wonder whether the photographs will match the description.
And if you ever have a query or a complaint, we will deal with it swiftly and seamlessly on the telephone or via email. Find all the details in Contact Us.
Because we offer the service we would like to use.
P.s. Every month we will be donating a rail of unsold stock to local causes or simply to anyone who needs it, as we passionately believe everyone should have access to beautiful clothing. If you are a charity or organisation, we would love to work with you, please get in touch by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
